It’s Far Easier Than You Think

Ever since I read Grant Cardone’s book, The 10x Rule, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of 10x.
From the time I read it four years ago to now, I’ve been able to:
- Escape a cult
- Learn how to code and build artificial intelligence applications
- Build my own solo business leveraging those skills
- Start a blog that’s got around 3 million impressions in the past 3 years
Now, I feel like I’m at the genesis of another 10x growth spurt and thought it would be a good time to revisit the concepts from the book, as well as what I’ve learned since I continued my studies of 10x.
Here’s what I’ve been getting my hands into…
The psychology of 10x transformation can be broken down into three components: identity, time, and leadership.
Let’s take a look at each one…
Identity
Your identity is defined by the story you tell yourself and the standards you keep.
By story, I mean how you think about yourself from the past, present, and future perspectives.
Standards are all about what you’re willing to tolerate.
These things come together to define how you act.
The stories you tell yourself are all interlinked and your minimum standard is what you’ll get more of.
Time
Your entire present experience is based on how you frame and view your past and future.
This means time is irrelevant in most respects.
The only reason you’re reading this story is cos you feel it aligns with your future…
You want to 10x your outcomes in the next 12 months, right?
If you didn’t care about 10x outcomes over the course of the next 12 months, you wouldn’t be reading this story.
Time is merely a man-made invention created to aid us mortals in life navigation.
